Previously, Lisa was co-founding CEO of BlogHer Inc., which she launched in 2005 with Elisa Camahort Page and Jory Des Jardins, and grew to more than 100MM unique visitors monthly and $30MM in revenues, Prior to BlogHer, Lisa pioneered the first blog publishing network at Law.com and was vice president of programming and editor in chief at Hearst-backed Women.com Networks. She also worked as a media strategist and producer at WebTV and CNN, and has written for the New York Times, LATimes.com and the Oakland Tribune. Her honors include a Fortune Most Powerful Women Entrepreneur Award, Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business and Working Mother’s Most Powerful Moms in Media. A Montanan who goes home as often as possible, Lisa lives in Silicon Valley with Christopher Carfi and her three children.
