JODY PETLIN
Jodi Petlin is a gifted integrative life coach, yoga teacher, and former music executive whose lifelong passion for understanding the deeper truths of our human experience informs her intuitive and practical approach to personal growth, professional development, and living a more heart-centered life.
Her path traces a unique arc through the corporate music and fashion worlds in New York City, to retreats in Bhutan, India and Nepal, to here in Whitefish, Montana. Today, she leads the teams at Shanti Yoga and Jodi Petlin Coaching and works with people who want – more than anything – to move forward and become who they are meant to be.
Jodi’s unique style blends delicacy and directness with tact and humor. She offers an expansive repertoire of practices cultivated from decades of personal study and training, along with her experiences teaching yoga and coaching others for 20 years.
Jodi began her corporate career in the fashion industry in New York City. Her success led to a shift into the music industry where, as Vice President of Artist Development and Marketing for Verve Records, she cultivated relationships with internationally acclaimed artists and directed the marketing of over 50 record releases a year. Jodi has also worked as a corporate career counselor for Hand & Associates, a management consulting firm serving clients in the entertainment industry. Jodi was general manager of Yoga Works in Los Angeles, CA and created On-Site Yoga, a business which brought the principles and practice of yoga into the corporate workplace.
Jodi founded Shanti Yoga Studio in Whitefish, Montana in 2006. She has been practicing yoga since 1994 and teaching for over two decades. Jodi co-created and led the first 200-hour Yoga-Alliance registered yoga teacher training program in Whitefish and travels internationally leading retreats and trainings.
Jodi Petlin has an MA in Spiritual Psychology, a BS in Organizational Management, and certifications in Life and Career Coaching. She has for decades studied wisdom teachings, yogic philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and human development with master teachers in the U.S. and abroad.
