WHAT TO EXPECT
Registration
Details available at check-in.
Dress Code: TLDR; Do You!
Wear whatever makes you feel good and authentically YOU.
Birks and a sequined top? Perfect.
Business attire? Also perfect.
Jeans and a cozy sweater? You’re nailing it.
Our team will be in all kinds of styles—and honestly, one of us will probably end up on stage with our underwear accidentally stuck in a pant leg (true story from the first Athena). We’re keeping it real here.
What to Bring
Don’t forget your swimsuit! If you’re staying at The Lodge, you’ll have access to the sauna and hot tub—easy to enjoy anytime.
If you’re staying elsewhere and want to join your new Athena friends for a soak, you’re welcome to use one of the team’s rooms to change and enjoy the facilities.
Micromoments
At Athena, we design a container for connection and love to sprinkle in micro experiences throughout the event. These won’t all be listed in the agenda—just know that beautiful, unexpected things will unfold both during sessions and after hours. This year, for example, we’ll have a visiting poet from Park City. Stay open to the surprises!
Thursday Night Meet-Ups
Thursday evening, several downtown locations will host casual meet-ups with speakers. Some folks may crave quiet time after the day’s sessions; others might be energized to keep the conversations going. Both are wonderful—honor what you need and stay tuned for exact locations.
Technology & Information
All conference details will be available via a QR code on your name badge. Scan it to access the full agenda and everything you’ll need at your fingertips.
Exercise & Moving Your Body
Optional movement classes will be offered Thursday morning and Friday morning/afternoon. Check the schedule for times and join in if that’s your thing!
Meditation
Start your Friday morning with intention. Join us for a guided meditation from 7:15–7:45 a.m. in the Regatta Room, led by Nicole Dunn from Deer Park Monastery & Empty Mountain.
Birds of a Feather Lunch (Thursday)
Dive deeper into meaningful conversations during our “a la carte” lunch table topics event. Each table will feature a specific theme and be facilitated by an expert-in-residence or one of our speakers.
Sign-ups will be available Wednesday at the cocktail party and Thursday morning at the registration table.
Sample topics include:
—Simplifying Health: Nutrition and Nature
—Solo-preneurship: Going It Alone & Learning From Each Other
…and more.
Find your flock and connect over lunch!
Headshots
Who doesn’t need a refreshed professional headshot? Photographer Lindsey Gardner will be offering sessions throughout the event (specific times/days to be announced).
Headshots are $50, paid directly to Lindsey via Venmo. Sign-ups will be available at the cocktail party and at the registration table.
Book Club Discussion
We have two incredible authors speaking at the event, and we'll be giving away both of their books! If you'd like to read ahead of time, feel free to pick up:
"30 Below: The Harrowing and Heroic Story of the First All-Women's Ascent of Denali" by Cassidy Randall
"The Little Book of Impact Investing" by Priya Parrish
No pressure to read them beforehand—we'll have copies for everyone at the conference. But if you want to dive in early and come ready for discussion, go for it!
FOOD & BEVERAGE
We'll have light appetizers, beer, wine, and bubbly waters to kick off the conference in style! There will also be shopping at this woman-owned Whitefish business if shopping & cocktails are your thing. Remember that you can also register for the conference at this event and get a jump-start on sign ups for some of the conference experiences and activities.
Thursday
Morning: We won't be providing breakfast, but we'll have coffee, tea, and flavored water available to get your day started. If you need something more substantial, the Lodge has a fancy coffee bar where you can grab that perfect latte.
Lunch: We're providing a full lunch with many sides to accommodate all dietary needs. You'll be well-fed!
Friday
Morning: Light pastries, coffee, tea, and flavored waters will be available. We'll wrap up before lunchtime on Friday.
Pro tip: Bring the snacks or special drinks you need in your bag! And remember, The Lodge's coffee bar is there if you need an extra caffeine boost or a treat.
